every Leader.
every studenT.

We envision an alternate future for school communities — one in which every student reaches their fullest potential, because every educator and leader is empowered to reach theirs.

We focus on developing leaders through balancing research-based transformation elements with sequential, aligned leader mindsets and actions. Specifically, we target three key stakeholder groups to maximize impact for each community.

  • We provide executive coaching on leader mindsets and aligned moves to transform school culture and academic achievement for all students. We customize for aspiring, new and seasoned school leaders.

  • We build collective efficacy across school-based leadership teams and coaches to align on shared values, mindsets, and coaching moves to drive school transformation. We customize for school-based coaches or instructional leadership teams.

  • We provide executive coaching for school leader supervisors or directors on adaptive coaching systems to transform district or network culture and academic achievement for all students. We customize for individual and cohort-based supervisor teams.

We help leaders balance the what of school transformation with the how of mindsets and actions—through a research-based, customized approach that blends cohort-based and individualized coaching.

MEET MEAGHAN

Meaghan Loftus is the founder and lead consultant of LoftEd. She is a recognized national coach and consultant specializing in leadership transformation. Since 2019, she has successfully partnered with hundreds of educators, leadership teams, school leaders, and district executives to dramatically improve school and district cultures, resulting in gains to academic and behavioral outcomes.

Prior to executive coaching, Meaghan served as a middle school special education teacher, academic facilitator, assistant principal and principal in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. During her principalship, the school moved up a letter grade on the state report card, “exceeded” growth and improved staff retention by 35%.

Meaghan received her B.A. from Lafayette College and her M.Ed. from Winthrop University. She is a Relay/GSE National Principals Academy fellow and was trained through Partners for Leaders in Education with University of Virginia. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.

  • "Meaghan has played a critical role in leading school improvement across our network of schools in Denver. Her expert coaching and support in driving network strategy has improved the practice of our principals and instructional coaches. Beyond skill development – her coaching has had a direct impact on the mindsets of leaders and reinforced our belief in each and every student."

Libby Brien, VP of Teaching, Learning, & Curriculum in DSST Public Schools

  • "Since the start of coaching, our student engagement has shown a significant increase and our discipline has shown a significant decrease. This is a direct result of the training Meaghan has provided. She is able to rapidly identify trends and gaps, and models how to do that for my sustainability. I have gained some of my strongest leadership skills - especially instructionally- from Meaghan."

Amy Asberry, Principal in Tulsa Public Schools

  • "Meaghan demonstrates how to navigate challenging conversations with those I'm coaching, doing so with grace and a clear sense of purpose. She recently demonstrated effective questioning techniques in real-time, giving me the chance to observe how asking the right question in the right way can be highly effective."

Derrick Muhammad, Principal Supervisor in Savannah-Chatham Public Schools

  • “Meaghan has been one of the most transformational coaches that I have had the privilege of working with. She took the time to get to know our community so that she could tailor the supports we needed. Meaghan positioned herself as both a leader and a learner – offering to adjust successful systems in other schools and sit side-by-side with me to create ones that would work for us. I am eternally grateful for her coaching and truly believe that it was her thought partnership and feedback that supported me in turning around our school.”

Briana Mesa, School Director in DSST Public Schools
